Jet skis
How old do I need to be to rent or drive a jet ski?
Renters must be 18 or older. Drivers may be 16 or older when a parent rents the jet ski and the driver meets Florida boating safety requirements.
Do I need a boating license?
Anyone born after January 1, 1988 who operates a powered vessel in Florida must complete an approved boater safety course or obtain a Florida Temporary Boating Certificate.
Do I need previous jet ski experience?
No. Every rental begins with hands-on instruction, protected-water practice, safety procedures, weather awareness, and local navigation guidance.
How many people fit on one jet ski?
A free-roam rental can carry up to 3 riders with a combined maximum weight of 400 pounds.
Boats
How old must I be to rent a boat?
The primary boat renter must be at least 25 years old, have boating experience, present a valid driver license, and complete the required agreement and vessel briefing.
Is a security deposit required?
Yes, a damage or security deposit is required for boat rentals. The amount and authorization terms are confirmed during booking.
Is fuel included with boat rentals?
Boat rentals leave with a full fuel tank. Return the boat full or pay the applicable refueling fee.
Before you arrive
What should I bring?
Bring a government-issued photo ID, the payment card used to book, sunscreen, sunglasses, a towel, water-friendly clothing, and any required boating safety documentation.
Do I need to sign a waiver?
Yes. Every participant must complete the electronic waiver before departure. Boat renters must also complete the boat rental agreement.
What if I am late?
Arrive at least 15 minutes early for check-in and orientation. Late arrival shortens your available time, and arrivals more than 15 minutes late may be treated as a no-show and charged in full.
Are life jackets provided?
Yes. Required life jackets and core safety equipment are provided. Follow staff instructions about wearing and using all safety equipment.
Changes and weather
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancel at least 24 hours before the start time for a full refund. Cancellations inside 24 hours may forfeit the deposit or incur a 25% fee. No-shows or arrivals more than 15 minutes late may be charged in full.
Can I reschedule?
One no-charge reschedule is available with at least 12 hours notice. Changes inside 12 hours depend on availability and may incur fees.
What happens if the weather is unsafe?
If Nauti Hooker cancels before departure for unsafe weather, you may reschedule or receive a full refund. Light rain alone does not automatically qualify; decisions are based on marine conditions.
